As Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina head to a pair of Soviet-era prison camps to begin their two-year sentences for, ahem, 'hooliganism motivated by religious hatred', you can express your support at a fund-raiser event here in Tokyo. Organised by local web mag Shatterjapan, the gig opens with a pair of discussion sessions involving local artists and authors, including Tokyo University of the Arts professor Yoshitaka Mori and controversy-courting art collective Chim↑Pom. Later in the evening, you can expect dance performances, DJs and live music from experimental pranksters Group A (pictured) and the rather less anarchic Baburu Kosen and Annarhythm. All profits go to the Pussy Riot legal team, natch.
