Time Out says

People have been sending all kinds of supplies to the areas worst affected by the March 11 quake and tsunami, but this is the first example we've come across of anyone collecting music for those in need. The folks at SuperDeluxe are asking punters who attend Fukukou Live to bring 'used CD's, CD players, radios and headphones' so they can be distributed to people who've had nothing of their own to listen to for the past couple of months. An admirable aim, even if we're not sure what the average Tohoku resident would make of the improvised weirdness and avant-garde skronk for which this Roppongi venue is best known. The music for the evening includes jazz and modern classical keyboardist Takuma Watanabe, better known as Combopiano, along with the more pummeling sounds of guitar-drum duo 2UP and prog-noise quartet Kuruucrew.
