Time Out says

Cross-genre icon Garland Jeffreys may be 74 years old but still appears to have plenty of juice left: after playing at Asagiri Jam over the second weekend of October, the Brooklyn native is hitting the capital area for two nights of gigs. Set to appear at Yokohama's Motion Blue on Tuesday and Billboard Live on Wednesday, the sometime Lou Reed acquaintance and Dr John collaborator is still perhaps best known for his track 'Wild in the Streets' – and for his appearance in Martin Scorsese's documentary The Blues: The Soul of a Man. Expect a powerful set of funk-, soul- and reggae-flavoured rock.
