Heavy Rotation featuring Open Reel Ensemble

Using clunky, analogue reel-to-reel tape decks to create dance music on the spot, Ei Wada's Open Reel Ensemble would be incapable of delivering a dull performance even if they tried. Still, their final gig of the year promises to be just a little bit special: 'Heavy Rotation' sees the Ensemble team up with an impressive cast of musicians and artists, including taiko drummer Tetsuro Naitoh, dancer Nanami Chinatsu and hands-on VJ crew Onnacodomo, for an evening of 'unexpected analogue and digital collaborations'. Bets are off as to what exactly that might involve, but it should definitely be memorable.
