Time Out says

Hellogoodbye is a powerpop group charged with sugary songs that croon about kisses and crushes with retro references to the biggest purveyor of bubblegum romance; ‘80’s teen flicks. No wonder, then, that the band formed in Huntington Beach, California, as a group of high school buddies out to impress the girls. Hellogoodbye signed to indie pop punk label, Drive-Thru Records, in 2003 and later went on to release their break-out album, Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006. The band’s popularity quickly ganined recognition overseas with its performance at Fuji Rock in 2007. Hellogoodbye prove that it they have aged gracefully with the maturity of their latest album, Would It Kill You? featuring the hit song, ‘Getting Old’.

Revel in your youth (or relive it) when Hellogoodbye performs at The Liquidroom on April 14.
