On-the-up singer-songwriter Hiraku Yoshimura has roped in a posse of indie acts for his Golden Week show at O-Nest, the Japanese title for which literally translates as 'Sweet-tooth Festival'. Most of the bands on the bill manage to be sweet rather than saccharine, including Thai Kick Murph, Sapporo's Simon and the folksy Hana to Roji, while you can also expect prog (Ore Wa Konna Mon Ja Nai), angular guitar rock (H Mountains) and more besides.
