Time Out says

Fusing jazz and reggae might seem like a recipe for cheesiness, but audiences at the Cotton Club will be in safe hands when this quartet of veteran musicians takes to the stage. Jazz Jamaica teams 79-year-old guitarist Ernest Ranglin and pianist Monty Alexander – both of whom have been dabbling in jazz for decades – with crack reggae rhythm section Sly & Robbie. Though the various players have collaborated with each other in the past, this will be the first time that they have all performed together. The group go on to play for an additional three nights at Blue Note Tokyo, Nov 5-7.
