Credit where it's due: however much you hate her music, Ke$ha is a smart operator. Back in the dark days after March 11 last year, when it felt like every overseas act was pussying out of their scheduled tours to Japan, the Queen of Raunch was one of the only people to give a convincing explanation, declaring that 'I genuinely don't think right now would be appropriate timing for me to perform in Japan given the content and the spirit of my show, which is all about feeling exuberant, rowdy, and wild.' Nice to know that there's a bit of intelligence and empathy buried under that skanky exterior. The singer will be making belated amends for said cancellation with this headlining show at Studio Coast, which comes a couple of days after her appearance at Summer Sonic.
