Time Out says

There can't be many artists whose Japan tours have been as jinxed as Lenny Kravitz's. Poor health forced the rock 'n' roller to postpone, and ultimately cancel, a planned trip here in 2002 – a pattern that was repeated to depressing effect six years later. Though he did manage to make it here for a couple of festival dates in 2004, Kravitz's upcoming Black and White Japan tour will be his first proper jaunt around the country for 14 years, and the promoters are doubtless praying that history doesn't repeat itself... again. Assuming that nothing goes awry this time around, audiences can expect to be treated to one of the tightest rock shows around – just don't, for God's sake, expect any of it to be remotely original. Friday's show features support from 'samurai guitarist' Miyavi.
