Little Wings

California-based illustrator and troubadour Kyle Fields took part in the first tour that 7 e.p. organised back in 2003, so it's only fitting that he'd be returning for the indie label's 10th anniversary celebrations. As Little Wings, Fields – together with a rotating cast of support musicians – crafts a hushed, slightly bummed-out Americana that recalls Phil Elverum and Will Oldham. This will be his first trip to Japan in seven years, the opening date for which comes with support from bewitching singer-songwriter Mmm and guileless indie synthpop quartet Mitsume. Little Wings will be back again on April 5, when he's playing downstairs at Shibuya O-Nest.
