M.I.A (Studio Coast)

Following the release of her first new album in three years, entitled ‘MAYA’, M.I.A. – an artist who earlier this year released a particularly graphic and highly controversial music video for her new single ‘Born Free’ and publicly raised a number of issues in regard to an article written about her in the New York Times – returns to Tokyo to play live. As you’d expect from such an accomplished and highly acclaimed artist (who continues to go from strength to strength with each album release and, incidentally, gave birth to a baby boy in February 2009), the event promises to be overflowing with energy and impact, or, in a word, unmissable.
