Have you ever wondered what it would be like if somebody revived acid jazz, and it wasn't utter toss? This instrumental trio – featuring former members of Miceteeth and Akainu on drums, keyboard and synthesizer – manage just that. Manhattan wrap up the release tour for debut album Far Trance this weekend, with support from fellow Akainu alumni Minimasu (think: bonkers Dixieland played without amps or microphones) and The No Problem's, and a performance by jazz-breakdance group BrokenSport.
