It's been a long time since Steven Patrick Morrissey last made it to these shores: the notoriously truculent singer was due to play at Fuji Rock Festival in 2004 but cancelled at the last minute, leading to the bizarre spectacle of a Smiths covers band, These Charming Men, playing the Green Stage in his absence. He's been making amends with his current tour of the country – his first Japan shows in a decade – which has included dates in Sendai, Tokyo, Kawasaki, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya and Osaka. After playing three shows in the Tokyo area during April, Mozza will be heading back for an extra gig that lands right in the middle of Golden Week.
