Mouse on Mars

Jan St Werner and Andi Toma have done a better job than most of their '90s electronica peers of keeping abreast of the times: not for nothing did last year's enjoyable fractured Parastrophics – the first Mouse on Mars album in six years – come out on Modeselektor's bass-centric Monkeytown label. The duo were on impressive form at Taico Club festival last June, when we described them as being 'like a thinking man's alternative to the Ed Banger electro set' – a view that we might find ourselves hastily revising after seeing them perform at WWW this month.
