Music is Ours 2011

Japanese ambient artist Calm only convenes his jazz-inflected Moonage Electric Quartet for one gig each year. Their 2011 concert takes its title from the track that the bandmaster made for last year's Modal Soul Classics II compilation, a tribute to the late hip hop producer Nujabes. Expect something warm, wide-eyed and perhaps a little bit soulful. Though this is billed as a 'one-man' gig, the Moonage Electric Quartet are supported by veteran British ambient DJ Mixmaster Morris, with visuals by Meg.
