Time Out says

My Morning Jacket's trajectory from eerie Americana to a more sprawling, genre-hungry experimental rock has seen them frequently compared to Wilco – and, much like Jeff Tweedy and co., they're a band who really come into their own live. Maybe too much so, in fact. After a particularly assertive performance in Osaka on Monday night, frontman Jim James's vocals were so shot that the group were forced to cancel a planned Nagoya show the following day. Thankfully, it looks like this Tokyo date will still be going ahead (tickets from the Nagoya gig, incidentally, are valid on the door). The show finds My Morning Jacket's lineup bolstered by a three-man horn section, featuring members of local funk acts including Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro. Should be memorable.
