Time Out says

A host of punks and reprobates are counting down the days until this year's Shinkiba Rock, a one-day festival held at a barn-like venue normally used for pro-wrestling matches. Organised by east-end punk venue Kameido Hardcore, it's a pleasingly lowbrow affair – and all the family's welcome, with steep discounts for junior high schoolers and free entry for anyone younger. Parents can get a dose of '70s-style Mentai Rock from Sheena & The Rokkets and Rock'n'Roll Gypsies, while there'll be dunderheaded rock (Electric Eel Shock, Metalpill), frenzied hardcore (Melt-Banana) and girl bands young (Guruguru) and old (Lolita No. 18). The music is spread across a pair of stages, with former AV idol Miri Sugihara and makeup artist Ayumo acting as MCs.
