Time Out says

Back in the days when an early NME endorsement was still a big deal, there was the sense that this Leeds quartet would be absolutely massive. 'The next Verve,' said some. 'The next Stone Roses,' said others. In the end, The Music couldn't quite deliver on the promise of that stunningly arrogant moniker, and a decade on from the release of their debut single, they've decided to call it quits. With a string of farewell dates booked in London and Leeds in early August, the band are heading to Japan first to bid sayonara to some of their most enthusiastic fans. Tickets have long since sold out for this Tokyo date, but the group are also playing at Fuji Rock Festival – where, fittingly, they'll be wrapping things up on the final night.
