Toe/Sick Team

Who'd have thought that post rock and underground hip hop enjoyed such a wide crossover audience? That's certainly the only explanation we can think of for Sick Team's ability to land themselves on lineups like this one. Not for the first time, the smoky-cool rap crew are sharing a stage with a group with whom they've got precious little in common: in this case Toe, the contemplative post rockers frequently held up as Japan's answer to The Album Leaf. Should be worth it just to see if anyone stays at the front of the crowd for both groups' sets.
