White Lies

Drawn from the same Joy Division and Echo & the Bunnymen gene pool that spawned the likes of Interpol and Editors, London trio White Lies have so far failed to bring anything new to the table – though that didn't stop their debut album going to number one in the UK in 2009 (follow-up Ritual managed a respectable #3 earlier this year). After postponing a planned tour in April, the band are finally playing the make-up dates now, though we wouldn't have complained if they'd given it a miss.
