Pampering yourself at a hotel’s dessert buffet is one elegant way to brighten up your weekend. This winter, the Conrad Tokyo helps you feel fancy with its hyper-prettily designed strawberry buffet, offered at the hotel's Cerise restaurant through April 16. Unlike all of the other strawberry-themed desserts currently offered around town, this set-up boasts a pink-beige colour scheme that helps bring the sophistication level up yet another notch (and might remind some of Perfume's 'Spice' music video). All of the exclusive desserts are prepared under the direction of Gabriela Gomez, the hotel's executive sous chef, while the tea selection comes courtesy of German tea brand Ronnefeldt. And if you'd like to go all out, add an extra ¥1,000 to enjoy a glass of champagne with the goodness. The buffet is only offered on Fridays, weekends and holidays, and is so popular that it's already been fully booked up into February.
