Is fine dining just for special occasions? The Shangri-La says no – this hotel restaurant is aiming to be fun and accessible, inviting you to drop by casually and whenever you feel like it. Opened in October 2015 on the 28th floor, as a part of the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant Piacere, Tapas by Piacere is where to taste executive chef Andrea Ferrero's version of the Spanish appetisers without breaking the bank – dishes start from ¥900, with wines by the glass also available for the same price. You can pick your favourite tipple at the restaurant's fun walk-in cellars, which obviously boast a plentiful selection. The gorgeous views of Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace gardens complete the experience.
