Coming up soon after the annual Port Festival celebrations, this Silver Week festival at Yokohama's Landmark Tower marks 160 years since the city opened – or was forced to open – its port to foreign ships. Yokohama's been a cosmopolitan place ever since, and the Landmarket follows up on this theme with sales of international edibles and drinks, performances and an all-round carnival atmosphere. Don't forget to try the Yokohama Brewery's signature suds when visiting the market, which is held inside the Landmark Plaza complex.
