Tap dancer Kazunori Kumagai isn't one to turn down a challenge, whether it's performing with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra or having an onstage duel with turntablist DJ Krush. The annual Kiseki shows – which showcase dancers from his own Kaz Tap Studio – are one of his most ambitious undertakings: this year's will feature a performance by the 60-strong KTS Hoofers, alongside the smaller (and slicker) Tappers Riot. Kumagai himself performs both solo and with his musical K.K. Quintet, and he's invited friend/rival Yuji Uragami (of Suji Tap) to do a guest slot.
