It's billed as an event that 'dogs and their owners can enjoy together', though that's probably only true if the canines in question like being dressed up in frilly costumes. Venus Fort's Dog Festa will feature fashion shows on both afternoons, plus free training sessions for people looking to whip their spoiled pooches into shape. Dog owners who spend more than ¥3,000 at one of the shopping centre's three pet stores can also enter their beloved wan-chan in a photo contest, the winner of which will be featured in the pages of Inu no Kimochi magazine.
