The city's premier museum detailing the history of Tokyo, the Edo-Tokyo Museum is renewing its permanent exhibits and is also scheduled to undergo extensive renovation throughout the winter of 2015. Although the general displays will be closed from the beginning of December to March 28, highlights from the museum's extensive collection will be exhibited on the ground floor in the form of this special exhibition. The entrance price has also been lowered accordingly, making for a nice and light opportunity to get in touch with the city's past.
