Time Out says

There ain’t no party like a Pinot Palooza party, as anyone who’s been to the event in its home country of Australia, or its inaugural Tokyo offshoot last year, will know. This year, the rollicking celebration of all things pinot-grape is set to continue its festivities with bottomless wine tastings of around 100 selections, including red, rosé and sparkling. Plus, plenty of snacks, live music and a jovial atmosphere that usually involves some dancing.

Wineries on the bill this year are Vineteloper (Adelaide Hills, AUS), Moondarra (Gippsland, AUS), Quealy (Mornington Peninsula, AUS) and Akitu (Central Otago, NZ), plus a slew of other breweries from around the world. As a momento, you get to keep the custom-made crystal wine glass (valued at ¥2,000) that you’ll no doubt develop a close relationship with over the day.

There are two sessions for the day, but even so, the event tends to sell out weeks before – last year in Tokyo, all 550 tickets were sold out two weeks prior, so be sure to secure yours early.
