Mukojima Hyakkaen, the only surviving Edo-era flower garden in Tokyo, is known not only for its impressive ume plum trees and cherry blossoms, but also for the around 500 large morning glory flowers grown by the local 'Morning Glory Association'. Get there early to see the flowers at their best – every blooming plant will be nipped by the groundskeepers in the afternoon.
