Beam Me Up says
After a late seventies backlash, disco dove back into the shadows. The music that drove dancefloors evolved, emerging as house, electro funk, italo and new wave. For this special eighties edition, we look at the post-disco sound, and how it helped shape the dance music of today!

Beam Me Up is a Disco jam that celebrates the underrated and the obscure of funk, jazz, soul, boogie, rare groove, reggae, gospel & proto-house! It’s an evening of tuneful transcendence in the best sounding bar in town, supplied by residents the Patchouli Brothers (f.k.a. A Digital Needle) & Cyclist, who go back to back all night!

Arrive early to avoid the disappointment of a line-up. And the spank of Cynthia's disappointed palm!
