Group Critique Night
with guest artist Heather Hart

Join us for the first group critique night of 2017 for practicing artists in the Scarborough community and beyond. These monthly sessions are an opportunity to meet with other emerging artists, discuss your work, and receive feedback in a supportive environment. For this months edition, we have a special guest Heather Hart, currently exhibiting at the Doris McCarthy Gallery at UTSC.

Heather Hart is a visual artist who works in a variety of media including interactive and participatory installation, drawing, collage, and painting. Her work has been included in a variety of publications and exhibited worldwide including at the Institute of Contemporary Art (Philadelphia, PA), the Gantt Center (Charlotte, NC), The Brooklyn Museum and the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. She studied at Princeton and received her MFA from Rutgers. Born in Seattle, Hart now lives and works in Brooklyn. For more information on her practice, visit

Please arrive anytime after 6:30PM to install your work. Critiques will begin at 7PM. All media and works-in-progress welcome. We will have a projector available to screen video works (bring media on a USB).
