Following a programme of their work, emerging Canadian filmmakers will engage in a panel discussion to discuss the role of cinema in exploring issues of spirituality, faith, tolerance, cultural identity and individual and community belief.

Young emerging filmmakers join established Canadian filmmakers for a screening of short films that address issues of spirituality, faith, tolerance, and cultural identity, followed by a panel discussion. The programme will feature the work of Yosef Baraki, Alex Fensham, Sabchu Rinpoché, Patrice Laliberté, Kevin Papatie, Sofia Bohdanowicz, and Joanna Durkalec. Moderated by Sherry Coman, Professor at Humber College, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary and the University of Toronto.

Post-secondary students may reserve one ticket each to this event. Remaining tickets will also be available from the Steve & Rashmi Gupta Box Office two hours before the event on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need valid student ID to pick up a ticket.

Faculty members and administrators can reserve blocks of tickets for their classes in advance. Please email hlf@tiff.net for more information.
