The legendary Toronto performance artist presents a work that considers legacy and memory, collapsing time, space and identity in ways only Keith Cole can conceive.
In the words of the artist:
“What is more important – sustaining an old universe or creating a brand new one?
Three GWM [gay white men] have come together to create a work of fiction that is wide open for interpretation, humour, malice, gossip, rumour and hearsay. Two voices from the other side and one voice very much alive temporarily escape their individual worlds and project themselves onto each other. He projects onto me, I onto him and he onto him. What began as a deeply intimate, well-timed three-way has opened up. The enchanted one left alive becomes the conduit for words, actions and objects and he has lost all control. There will be water. There will be interpretive dance. There will be cats.”
