Harbourfront Centre says
Inventive and unique, the work resulting from the hybridization of craft and design is among the most innovative in Canada today.

Join fellow designers and makers at Harbourfront Centre for a special one-day symposium exploring this burgeoning field.

Eight of Canada's most inspired designer/makers will be on hand to address some of the field's most pressing questions and reflect on their own practices.

Speakers: Scot Laughton (keynote), Suzanne Carlsen and Noah Rosen of Carl&Rose, Shaun Moore of MADE Design, Lysanne Latulippe of String Theory, Greg Sims, and Heather Lam and Scott Bodaly of the National Design Collective.

Following the symposium, join us in the Craft & Design Studio from 4-6pm for "Meet Your Maker" -- a free, public reception.

Symposium: 10am–4pm
Reception: 4pm–6pm (open to public)
Location: Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay West, Toronto
Tickets: General $48.25 / Students $25.75
