#nofees #noradiusclause #paidgig is the motto of TWiMFeST as the festival goes into our second year. Kicking off the fest at Dundas Video the only bar in Toronto you can play Duck Hunt, crush beers and listen to fantastic live music all at the same time. With perhaps Montreal's best new indie-rock band Frisky Kids, buzzing Kingston indie band Kasador and opening sets from localish No King For Countrymen and Before the Flood. Prepare for a sweaty good time. Expand for full info, set times etc:

Before the Flood: http://twimfest.com/artists/before-the-flood/ at 8 PM:

For fans of Wilco, The Shins, The Weakerthans and more. It has been several years since I saw Before the Flood live but they've been simmering just below the radar and are coming back in a big way now. Come out early and hear for yourself.

No King For Countrymen: http://twimfest.com/artists/no-king-for-countrymen/ at 9 PM:

Highly charged addictive indie-rock/punk anthems are a staple of No King For Countrymen who are a band who've been gathering quite a bit of steam as of late. Bands like No King For Countrymen proving that you can play poppy punk songs and not have people turn their nose up about it. Throw your hands in the air!

Frisky Kids: http://twimfest.com/artists/the-frisky-kids/ at 10 PM:

My favourite band out of Montreal in a while Frisky Kids are playing catchy indie-rock with attitude, hooks and just enough grit. With a big showcase at Pop Montreal, a fantastic record to support and plans to move their sound across the rest of the country this won't be the first you've heard of Frisky Kids.

Kasador: http://twimfest.com/artists/kasador/ at 11 PM:

Some of the slickest, tightest and smartest put together indie-rock going anywhere right now. Kasador has been on a roll landing big shows across Ontario/Quebec playing significant festivals and gaining a ton of steam. Now they are going to kick off TWiMFeST in a jam-packed Dundas Video for yet another memorable night.
