Toronto Stop: Support Rachel's Run Against Line 9 (Potluck And Welcome)

Rising Tide Toronto says
Rachel Thevenard has started to run Line 9 from Aamjinaang to "Montreal" in opposition to the lack of consultation and in solidarity with the Chippewas of the Thames.

We wish to support Rachel with her run, and the ongoing resistance and opposition that the Chippewas of the Thames continues to show against Line 9. Please join us at York University, 4th floor Student Centre for a pot luck to welcome Rachel on the Toronto stop of her 800+ km journey to hear more about Line 9 and to join Rachel in a symbolic run as she continues on her journey.

Potluck style! So bring a dish to welcome Rachel. Bring a banner or sign to to oppose Line 9!
We will wait at the Student Centre (4th floor)until we get the call that she is close, then we will walk to Line 9 to meet her.
TRANSIT TO STUDENT CENTRE: The Student Centre of York University is very accessible via TTC. From Downsview station, get either of the buses that go to York (196 or 106) and get off at 4700 Keele Street (the big bus circle stops right in front of the student centre). From Finch Station, take the 60 bus to 4700 Keele (York University stop). Call or text 647-989-7468 if you are lost!
