Toronto Winds Present: Inspire says
Join the Toronto Winds and conductor, Dylan Rook Maddix for their inaugural concert entitled, Inspire. Taking place Nov. 17th at Array Music Space (155 Walnut Ave, Toronto, ON) at 7:30pm. Admission by donation (suggested $10).

This program will feature some of Toronto’s finest wind musicians, taking the audience through an exciting evening of music inspired by Mozart and Beethoven. Selections range from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture to Jonathan Dove’s Figures in the Garden. The second half will feature Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 in C: Mov. 1, which inspired Adam Gorb’s Symphony No. 1 in C for 12 Winds and Double Bass.

The Toronto Winds are a professional level chamber wind ensemble comprised of Toronto’s leading wind and percussion players. The mission of this unique ensemble is to bring high-caliber chamber wind repertoire to audiences in Toronto and beyond, pushing the boundaries of traditional wind chamber music.

Led by artistic director & conductor, Dylan Rook Maddix, Toronto Winds members include players from Ontario’s leading ensembles, including: Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, National Academy Orchestra, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Euphonia, as well as faculty of the University of Toronto and Royal Conservatory of Music.
