A rerelease of the experimental 1929 silent documentary, which chronicles day-to-day life in Odessa and other Soviet cities including Moscow, Kiev and Kharkov. Directed by Dziga Vertov and edited by his wife Elizaveta Svilova, Man With A Movie Camera includes everyday scenes such as a woman getting out of bed and getting dressed, alongside more intimate moments like a mother giving birth and the nurse taking away the newborn to be washed and checked.
