Supplying much nubile flesh but little insight on same, this empty Chilean drama (based on a runaway-hit blog) feels like a throwback to the days when art houses smuggled in foreign softcore under the guise of edginess. Daniela (Alicia Rodríguez), a blooming 17-year-old kicked out of her religious high school for posting vivid details online, turns to the sexually available coworkers at her Christian TV station for release. The movie intercuts bisexual rubbing and sucking with pink-tinted comment fields and furious glances from an uptight mom (Aline Küppenheim), resulting in a frisky cinematic style that seems wasted. The young actors’ vacant-eyed brazenness may be true to life, but there’s a whiff of exploitation, matched by the script’s disinterest in exploring any friction that isn’t skin on skin.
