If you’ve ever thought about heading over to Hong Kong, there’s no better time than now to start planning a trip. If you’re one of the first 500,000 people in the U.S. to apply, starting at 8pm ET on May 17, then you’ll be on your way on the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s dime (though you’ll have to pay airport fees and taxes).

As part of the Board’s Hello Hong Kong campaign, it’s giving away round-trip economy flights on Cathay Pacific from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and New York. With travel costs—especially air travel — continuing to skyrocket, a free flight takes the sting out of international travel, and Hong Kong is certainly an exciting option.

To apply, first you have to become a Cathay member. Then you can head to the promotional page on Cathay's website to receive a promo code to book your free flight. There’s a limit of one ticket per transaction, and it’s first-come first-served, so make sure you’re ready at 8pm. If you’re a lucky applicant, you must travel within nine months and stay for at least two days and at most a month. Tickets are non-exchangeable.

It's a pretty sweet deal, so get your clicky fingers ready and try your luck.
