Do you think in Reels? Can you spot a TikTok trend before it goes viral? Do you find inexplicable joy in crafting the perfect caption? If you're furiously nodding your head, we want to hear from you. Time Out is hiring a Social Media and Photo Editor to join our North American editorial team and take our content to the next level.

The winning applicant will work closely with local city editors to manage social media accounts across North America, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. We're searching for someone who's fluent across platforms and always has an eye out for the next big thing. They'll be tasked with gathering assets, writing copy, posting daily and developing a future-gazing strategy to grow our digital audience.

The Social Media and Photo Editor should be equally comfortable participating in big, collaborative brainstorms and independent think sessions. We'll rely on this person to be our social eyes and ears—they'll be responsible for educating our team on the newest tools and trends available. At the end of the day, they should also be able to wrap their head around analytics to share feedback on what's working and spot uncharted opportunities.

Additionally, this role will be charged with deploying paid social campaigns, managing Time Out's photography resources and setting the bar for on-brand imagery across all Time Out channels.
