The Lower East Side Film Festival is back for its 14th annual fest with feature film premieres, specialty short showcases, industry panels and more

The Lower East Side Film Festival is back for its 14th annual fest this weekend with exclusive feature film premieres, specialty short showcases, industry panels and parties. Running from Thursday, May 2 through Monday, May 6 at the Village East Cinema and DCTV Firehouse Cinema, this year's lineup includes special 25th anniversary screenings of classic 1999 films like Cruel Intentions (with a Q&A with director Roger Kumble) and But I’m A Cheerleader (with a Q&A with director Jamie Babbit).

Opening night kicks off with Your Monster, starring Melissa Barrera, while dark comedy Puddysticks will close the festival. High-profile folks like Lizzy Caplan, Beanie Feldstein, Brittany Snow and Julio Torres, among others, will join the festival as celebrity judges.
