Living in the real world? Out. Pretending you’re an 18th-century lady sitting in your parlour waiting listlessly for a handsome gentlemanly caller? In.

The Regency era hasn’t been this much in fashion since King George III was on the throne. Between Bridgerton and a resurgence of people realising that Mr Darcy is, ultimately, the ideal man, it’s no surprise that we all want to live out our Georgian dreams. But you needn’t languish any longer, dear reader!

We already gave you a guide to where to go to see the real life filming locations from the upcoming third series of Bridgerton, but now we’ve something even better. Airbnb has revealed seven places you can stay in the UK that’ll make you feel like a real Regency prince/princess, from castles and estates to townhouses.

We’ve even put them together on one list for your convenience.

Highland Castle in Balcraig

Starting off strong, how does an actual castle nestled deep into the Scottish hillsides sound? Pretty cool, right? Book your stay in Balcraig here
