Time Out says

The dining experience is always just as important as the food that is being served. If you check out Benihana in Hamra, you can be sure to get some great Japanese food and also a fun experience. Call it ‘eatertainment’. Benihana is a Japanese steakhouse, often known as a ‘teppanyaki’, where your meal is prepared for you right at your ‘hibachi’ or table. The always entertaining chefs serve a variety of sushi, teppanyaki and other Japanese classics, all of which are flamboyantly prepared as you watch on. The chef at your table is there to prepare your food, but is also there to perform; and they can put on quite a performance. Although you don’t want to lean in too close or you might lose your eyebrows when the flames go up and knives start flashing.
