L’Osteria

L’Osteria, in Mar Mikhael, is a dark and trendy wine bar, with an authentic Italian feel and a touch of southern France. The interior has the feel of wine cellar, with rough stonewalls and stone pillars. Although relatively small in size, you will find a number of tables to sit at, and a bit of space at the bar. Like most bars in the area, the action spills out onto the street, where they have also have some chairs and tables, making it a perfect place to hang out on summer evenings. L’Osteria is ostensibly a wine bar, and they have a great selection of both Lebanese and European wines on offer; and if you’re hungry they make a few tasty dishes. Lots of charcuterie and French cheese is on the menu if you opt to eat. Seating can be difficult to find on Sundays, but that is due mainly to the great live music they provide.
