Time Out says

Paul is a well-established international chain of French bistros that was started in 1889. Only a short 120 or so year later in arrived in Lebanon and now operate all across the city. Although a chain, each one does come with an independent charm and serves up some great food. Inside each establishment, you’ll be treated to a typically French rustic atmosphere, with wicker baskets with baguettes and black and white photos of Paris. All that’s missing is a man in a stripy jersey with a string of onions around his neck on a bicycle. A well proportioned menu, with plenty of sandwiches, salads and main dishes to choose from – try the Henry IV for a crunchy loaf stuffed with chicken, mayo, salad and avocado.
