9. Celebrate National Cinema Day with a "made in Argentina" premiere

If you enjoy watching films about real stories that shook Argentina or the world, then tune in to Prime Video on May 22nd to watch the premiere of "Nahir," the new Amazon Original movie. It's a thriller and fiction drama that delves into the 2018 police case, in which Nahir Galarza, 19 years old (portrayed by Valentina Zenere), became the youngest woman to be sentenced to life imprisonment in Argentina.

Let's recall that Nahir was accused and convicted of killing her boyfriend, Fernando Pastorizzo. However, the story took a turn when Galarza accused her father, a police officer, of being the real killer; a claim quickly dismissed by the justice system. "The movie depicts the different versions detailed in the police report. It's an exciting project we've worked on for four years, involving in-depth research into one of Argentina's most shocking police cases in recent years," says Lucas Jinkis, the producer and creator of the movie. "Nahir is a story about how toxic relationships can end in tragedy," he concludes.

The cast features top-level stars like César Bordón, Mónica Antonopulos, Nacho Gadano, among others. "Nahir" was created and produced by Lucas Jinkis, directed by Hernán Guerschuny, and written by Sofía Wilhelmi. It's a Zeppelin Studio production.

Twenty-eight years later, the leading actress stars in "Evita: The Most Loved, the Most Hated," at the Taller Museo Juan Carlos Pallarols.
