Honey Hotel

Superbly kitsch, the Honey's long, low, black granite foyer and aqua pool will suit anyone who thinks crimplene and cocktail frankfurters are 'faaabulous'. The 75 rooms are unglamorous and slightly musty, but good value. Honey has tons of atmosphere, plus a cast of generic middle-aged white men and Thai girls lounging poolside.

I would like an upstairs room for 1 person arriving October 8 and departing October 12. Is that possible?

Honey Hotel, I stayed there last week and will again next week. Rooms are a little old, but clean with all the facilities you need, mini bar, TV, aircon etc. Plenty of hot water, soap, shampoo etc. Staff were all amazingly helpful, from great chamberstaff to reception and restaurant. I have stayed at many hotels over past 20 yrs and you pay for what you get in BKK most of the time. If you have Champagne tastes book The Marriott, Oriental or the likes. Dont expect 5* at Honey for Lemonade money. Value is good for hotel position, ideal for Sky Train, shopping, dining etc. Amazing value is left luggage at 10 baht per week! I decided to leave my clean clothes for next visit. There are men with bar girls, but as the hotel does not have a bar, only restaurant for alcohol it is not obtrusive. I am a single female traveller.
