Time Out says

Best known for choosing the winners of the annual Good Design awards, the nonprofit Japan Design Committee also puts on an annual exhibition of its own at Design Gallery 1953 in Ginza. Usually themed on the interplay between tradition and future, it's had a slight facelift for this year (along with a name change): now titled 'The Future of Japanese Tradition', the display features innovative design from a wide range of genres, including washi paper, lacquerware, sake brewing and ryokan inns, curated by the likes of star architect Kengo Kuma and design titan Makoto Kozumi.

Note that the exhibition takes place on the eighth floor of Matsuya Ginza, at the 'Event Square'.
