Good news for movie geeks: the Toho Cinemas chain will be reprising its popular 10am Film Festival for the third year running. Since starting in early 2010, this series of classic movie screenings has found an enthusiastic audience – helped, no doubt, by an eclectic remit that takes in anything from Belle de Jour to Back to the Future. The third edition of the festival changes the format slightly: while screenings in central Tokyo were previously held at Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills, the action has been moved to the smaller Miyukiza in Hibiya – and they've effectively ditched the mornings-only concept, meaning that the week's film will be screened all day long.
