Makoto Ozone & Gonzalo Rubalcaba 'Jazz meets Classic' with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra

As you might have expected, jazz and classical come together at these concerts featuring performances by renowned musicians like pianist Makoto Ozone and Cuban great Gonzalo Rubalcaba. There are two concerts altogether, one at Ueno's Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and the other at Olympus Hall Hachioji, with both featuring Hungarian composer Béla Bartók's 'Concerto for Two Pianos, Percussion and Orchestra' and 'Romanian Folk Dances'. Still, the headlining duo's jazz session, which is set to come after the intermission, just might be the highlight here.
